Stephanie Brownlee

Stephanie Brownlee's debut single "Keep It Real" is creating a big impact on both commercial and country music stations.

The attractive 17-year-old Noosa singer is winning the hearts of pop and country music lovers alike.

Last week alone Stephanie's single heated up the Country Music Channel, jumping four places from number 30 to 26.

As a reflection of the appeal of Stephanie's music, this is a massive achievement for a debut single.

The former Tamworth local's song hit the Country Music Channel charts at 39 in its first week, and steadily moved up to number 26 in ensuing weeks, making it one of the fastest moving singles on the chart.

It's not just the quirky attractiveness of the song or Stephanie's unique style appealing to audiences, but this teenagers amazing voice.

In an industry often dominated by mediocre talent and digital mixing, it is refreshing to come across a performer who can actually sing a range of music.

Stephanie's publicists say she is Australia's answer to Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne with more edge.

"Keep It Real" was penned by award winning swongwriter Liz Rose and released through boutique label Compass Brothers Records.

Stephanie's single hit national radio last week, so it should only be a matter of time before the whole country is in tune with her style and singing her praises.

Sunshine Coast singer Stephanie Brownlee went back to school to entertain some appreciative Prep students at Sunshine Beach Primary School.

When student Bailey asked his big sister Stephanie to sing to his class she took the opportunity to share her talent with the young audience.

With toes tapping and fingers clicking, the class, teacher and other staff members thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

Stephanie recently cut her first CD and can be heard singing on local radio.

Blast off with Stephanie Brownlee

By Paul Finn - The Place Online - North Queensland

Bear with me... Rocket ships start the same way other aircrafts start... on the ground. The difference is that when they take off they go straight up rather than slowly climbing. This can be the same of musicians. Everyone starts the same way with an interest in music. Some rapidly rise through the ranks and blast their way into the stars... other musicians experience high levels of altitudes but it’s not to the same effect.

When speaking to young Stephanie Brownlee I was amazed by what she had already accomplished in such a short time. I would describe her current situation as though she is standing on the launch pad ready to take off... the countdown is closing in on a highly anticipated career.

Stephanie Brownlee is an Up and coming pop sensation who has already been turning heads, and her debut single "Keep It Real" has already hit Australian radio. The 17-year-old starlet has been making waves around her Noosa home, and recently made a guest appearance at a few special Tamworth events, making her name the one on everyone’s lips.
