Former Fleetwood Mac Manager introduces New Talent to Music LegendFormer Fleetwood Mac manager Dennis Dunstan, now a Noosa local, took the band’s performances in Brisbane this week as a chance to introduce his new up-and-coming star client Stephanie Brownlee to the band’s legendary Mick Fleetwood. Dennis Dunstan, who worked with Fleetwood Mac for two decades and ended up not only co-managing the band, but also managing Mick Fleetwood personally, relocated from the States to Noosa four years ago to set up his new music management company, Front Row Management. Since then he has been working with 17-year-old Sunshine Coast singer Stephanie Brownlee, and is gearing up for a massive 2010 with the up-and-coming star as she prepares for the release of her debut album.
Signed to Compass Bros Records, Stephanie’s debut single ‘Keep It Real’ hits country radio this week and will be released to all commercial stations after Christmas. Her album, of the same name, is due for release next year. The record itself was recorded in Nashville and features songs co-written by some of the biggest names in the American music industry, including Liz Rose who wrote a plethora of hits for Taylor Swift, and a special co-write by Miley Cyrus. Taking Stephanie backstage at this week’s gigs at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Dennis introduced the budding singer to Mick Fleetwood.
For Stephanie, it was a moment that she will never forget.
Stephanie said.
Dennis said Mick also took Stephanie’s website details back to America with him to keep track of her career. Stephanie Brownlee’s first single ‘Keep It Real’ hits the Country Music Channel next week. Her debut album will be released in May 2010. Media EnquiriesFor all media enquiries and high resolution images (available on request) please contact |
